Hong Kong is a truly unique city in the world. I have been there more times than I can count and I have written about it extensively on my blog. Here's the latest -> http://fredferg.blogs.com/travelog/2005/06/20050626_leavin.html

you'll be missing a big part of asia if you miss on a small place like hong kong. it might be real commercial to a lot of people but you have to visit its outlying islands to appreciate its real beauty. visit tai mo shan, home of the royal observatory and don't forget to visit the famous victoria peak. don't miss the rugby 7s season, it's bloody bloody!

Andrew's travels

Semester at Sea (fall 1989) and a trip with family earlier. This city is the closest thing on earth to pure capitalism. If you can dream of it, you can buy it (for a price). Don't plan on sleeping a lot.
